Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to love your Batya jewelry. If something isn’t quite right, we're here to help.

RETURNS

Please request a return within 7-10 days of receiving your order. 

To qualify for a return:

The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

Please note: We do not accept returns on custom orders, sale items, or earrings (for hygiene reasons), unless damaged or faulty.

EXCHANGES

We can offer exchanges for:

Store credit, or

A replacement piece (if available), once the original item is returned within 10 days of delivery.

Please be aware: Our collections are handcrafted in limited batches. If your original piece is sold out, we’ll work with you to find an alternative you’ll love.

DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

Your order number

Photos of the item and packaging

We’ll make it right.

HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN OR EXCHANGE

Email us at justine@batya.co.za with your order number and reason for the return. We’ll guide you through the next steps.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
